Central Region: Cayuga, Cortland, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, St. Lawrence Counties

Comprising a mix of small, medium and large firms, the Central Region is particularly active in pursuing legislative issues and promoting engineering as a career. The region also focuses on issues of immediate concern to its members, including hiring, termination, how to find employees, legal issues, and working with owners, architects and others. The region also offers scholarships to engineering students and promotes engineering as a profession in High Schools.

The region meets monthly starting in October with a legislative breakfast with state legislators. Meetings continue thru May, with a membership appreciation dinner in late Spring for active members and spouses.
