Building a Better Business Webinar - NYCDEP’s Recognize – Improve – Intervene (RI²) Initiative

Date: Tuesday, June 27, 2017
Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: Online

BEDC’s mission is to deliver world-class projects for its client Bureaus that are safe and operationally sustainable as well as delivered on time and within budget.  To support that mission, over the last eight months, BEDC has continued to develop the ePMIS system.  This platform is comprised of Capital Project Management Software (e-Builder), a visualization tool (Tableau) and data warehouse (Microsoft Azure) to become the backbone for managing projects in BEDC.  All project teams have begun relying on this system as the basis for monthly governance reporting.

The purpose of BEDC’s RI² Program is to use the project information provided through ePMIS to benchmark overall project performance and guide the Bureau’s response to each project accordingly.  This benchmarking program and corresponding response will be based on the model of Recognize–Improve–Intervene (RI²).

Please join Acting BEDC Deputy Commission James Mueller for a two (2) hour webinar on June 27 as he and his Program Management team provide a detailed overview of the RI2 program what BEDC’s contractors can expect moving forward.

Presenters:

James Mueller, Acting Deputy Commissioner – Bureau of Environmental Engineering and Construction | NYCDEP
Thomas Long,  Director Program Management Office - Bureau of Environmental Engineering and Construction | NYCDEP
