2017 Winter Conference Registration: Still time to Register. Our largest conference of the year, the annual Winter Conference, will take place at the Albany Marriott on January 29-31, 2017. Over 300 engineering professionals and exhibitors attend this conference each year. State and NYC agencies/authorities will present exclusive information on their upcoming capital programs. Special tracks for CFOs/Business Managers and Emerging Leaders (up-and-coming professionals within your firm) are also offered on Monday, January 30. Sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities are still available, though many are already sold out. Visit the Winter Conference event website to register online. Donations to Scholarship Fund Due January 13. The ACEC New York Scholarship Fund is now accepting donations for 2016-17. The Fund awards scholarships to undergraduate engineering students in New York State to promote the consulting engineering profession. Named scholarships reflect contributions of $2,500 or more and are awarded by the firm at an ACEC New York function. Firms can contribute whatever amount they wish; these funds are combined into general ACEC New York Scholarships and used to help the Scholarship Fund grow. To donate to the Scholarship Fund, complete the online form and send payment by January 13, 2017. Thank you to our current confirmed 2016-17 scholarship donors. The online application for students for the 2016-17 ACEC New York Scholarship is now available. This is a valuable opportunity for the next generation of engineers; we encourage you to share this link with any possible candidates.

Oliver Kinross Presents: The Infrastructure Summit at New York Build. The Infrastructure Summit (March 15th & 16th, Javits Center) analyzes the aging assets that serve New York's infrastructure and the challenges associated with modernizing them for future and keeping up with maintenance. The Summit will also explore the vast network of intertwined infrastructure that serves New York's citizens and economy. Speakers include: City Council Chair of Transportation, DASNY, Jaros, Baum & Bolles, SCA, Lizardos Engineering Associates, Dormitory Authority State of New York, NYCHA and many more. ACEC New York PDH Webinars

Call for Submissions! ACEC New York is looking for both technical and business programs to present as webinars. PDH webinars should be about one hour and should be technical in nature. Presenters earn 3 PDHs per 1-hour class the first time they present. Business webinars should also be about 1 hour and should provide information relevant to our membership.
