2017 Engineering Excellence Judging. On October 26, 2016, at the Roosevelt Hotel in NYC, all 130 of the 2017 Engineering Excellence final projects were evaluated by six panels of judges, which were made up of key people from the engineering industry. Each project was presented to the judges by a volunteer moderator. Participants included members of the EEA committee, principals and other volunteers from member firms, and key figures from the media, engineering education, and government agencies. Results have been tallied, and all firms will be notified of their award levels within the next week.

Member Contact Information. At ACEC New York, we are working to constantly improve our database of contacts at our member firms to best share the benefits of membership and successes of the industry. To that end, we request that the main contact for each firm use our online form to submit the most up-to-date contacts for their firm throughout the year. These individuals will be added to our general, as well as program-specific, email lists. As we develop the Emerging Leaders track for the Winter Conference, we especially request that firms submit individuals that would be a fit for this program. This is the third year of this program, which is designed to engage those professionals expected to enter leadership roles in member firms and encourage them to become an integral part of ACEC New York through relevant programming and sharing best practices. If you have any questions, contact our office at (518) 452-8611.
