ACEC New York's scholarship program promotes the consulting engineering profession to promising New York State undergraduate engineering students, with the goal of attracting them to in-state consulting engineering firms.  Since its inception in 1968, the program has awarded scholarships to an impressive array of students, a number of whom have risen to prominence in their field.  Between 2002 and 2009 alone, the program awarded 97 scholarships to undergraduate third-year students for a total of $265,500.
